Our Story

Desperate to escape the blistering summer heat of the Arizona desert, our family scoured the internet for the best beaches in the United States. We were quickly drawn to the beautiful sugar sand beaches and turquoise colored, crystal-clear, warm water found along 30A highway. Once we arrived, we were immediately charmed by the small-town feel of Santa Rosa Beach. The sound of the ocean’s waves, golf carts, bike bells and laughter filled the air, replacing horns and speeding cars. The refreshing ocean breeze helped accelerate our ability to relax and forget our cares left at home. The contrasting thick green forest to the north and vast blue ocean to the south of the highway nearly took our breath away. We loved pedaling our way around town to explore new beaches, neighborhoods, one-of-a-kind boutique shops and distinctive restaurants, unique to the area. These feelings and experiences have made for unforgettable memories and are why we have been coming back year after year. We love it here and are thrilled to have a place to call our own. We are even more excited to share it with you and welcome you with open arms to our Hideaway on 30A!

30A Hideaway

The condo offers ground level entry with keypad check-in. You'll walk into a hallway that leads to a comfortable living area, and a full kitchen with breakfast bar island seating and two tables for additional seating. The kitchen offers full sized appliances, dishes, cookware, and Keurig. The laundry closet is conveniently located right off the kitchen area.

The first bedroom offers a queen sized bed, TV with Roku, and closet space. Our second bedroom has a triple bunk bed, TV with Roku, and a small reading nook kids will love! Additionally, right next to the bunk and queen room is a full bathroom. The last spacious bedroom boasts a King bed. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub and shower, his & her sinks, and a closet.

Right off the living room is a cozy screened in back patio with two comfortable chairs to sit back and relax with your beverage of choice in hand. From the back patio you are only steps away from the heated community pool and lily pad pond. You kids will love spotting turtles and frogs amongst the abundance little pads!

The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the condo straight down Somerset Bridge Road. The public beach access offers bike racks if you would rather ride instead and two showers. The beach gear that we provide will make for a relaxing a fun day at the beach for the whole family.

Our family has visited the panhandle for vacation many times and we've always dreamed of owning our own little piece of paradise in the area!

30A Hideaway is that dream come to life. We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place for a family getaway. We love relaxing at the beach while watching our kids splash in the ocean. The location is perfect and the Santa Rosa Beach neighborhood is one of a kind.

The home is just a short stroll to the beach and the neighborhood is perfect for morning or evening walks or bike rides. We're excited to make plenty more family memories and are happy to be able to offer 30A hideaway for you to make memories in as well. Fantastic place with everything you’ll need to enjoy your vacation. The home is great and very comfortable with comfy beds, and our kids (9,7,3) loved the triple bunk bed, and there is room for everyone to spread out when you need to relax after a long day at the beach. It was great to have a wagon, chairs, bikes, cooler, and umbrellas at the house that we could use at the beach. Saved us hassle and money by having nice things come with the house to use for our beach days. On top of that the location was nice with just a short 5 min walk to the beach that even our 3yo could do without issue. This was one of the best family vacations we’ve had and a lot of that is due to the house and amenities included.

Rick’s place was an incredible stay. The location is tucked away from the busy 30A in a gated family community. They provided all of the beach necessities in the storage unit, which made staying at the beach all day very enjoyable. The place is very cozy and I recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a beach trip! We will be definitely saving this one for a future trip!
